OPEN ENROLLMENT (SCHOOL CHOICE) INFORMATION

Denmark welcomes open enrolled students.

The State of Wisconsin allows students to attend a non-resident school district tuition-free. Required applications are submitted on the DPI website within a strict time frame. Each student must submit an application. Open enrollment is an option not a guarantee. Both the resident and non-resident school district must accept the application. Parents are notified by mail no earlier than May 1, 2012 or no later than June 8, 2012.

OPEN ENROLLMENT APPLICATION DATES FOR 2012-2013 School Year

February 6 to April 30, 2012.

The open enrollment application is now closed.

New state statutes allow exceptions to the open enrollment application period.

Note: Non resident district is Denmark (place student moved from). New resident district is the district student now lives (place student moved to).

Complete one other section appropriate to the date of move.

Each student requires an individual form.
