Classroom Pet

 Blizzard is our class pet. What type of rabbit is she? 

Childhood
As a child, Mr. McPherson grew up in Menominee, MI. He called the UP home until he moved away to college, and then to the Green Bay area. Once a winner of the "Shyest Camper" award at Camp U-Nah-Li-Ya in his sixth grade year, Mr. McPherson understands the difficulties that come with growing up.

Teaching
Mr. McPherson has been teaching since 1997. His first teaching assignment was in Bay City, MI at Bangor West Elementary School. He taught First Grade for three years and then moved to WI with his family. He has taught in Denmark since 1999, in First Grade until 2002 in Third Grade until 2006, and now in Fifth Grade. Being a teacher is a privilege he takes very seriously. 

Family 

Mr. McPherson now lives in DePere, WI with his family (Sarah, Ian, Mrs. McPherson and Ave the dog). His wife and children occasionally come to visit the classroom. In his free time Mr. McPherson is an Independent Film Maker, a comic book collector, Brewer fan, gardener, guitar player, and reader to name just a few hobbies. 

Education/License
Mr. McPherson attended Central Michigan University for his undergraduate work. His Master's work was done locally at the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay.
