On April 12th, eighteen DHS Civics Club students on four separate teams competed in the Wisconsin Newspaper Association's regional Civics Games competition.  They faced off against many teams from around the state, being asked questions about local, state, and federal governments.  One team (consisting of Henry Pahlow, Lydia Flanigan, Ben Lindsley, Collin Trepanier, Cherry Weis, and Aiden Nelsen) took first place in their region and are headed to the state competition!  The finals will be held on Friday, May 10th at the Wisconsin State Capitol and will be broadcast on WisconsinEye.  Each member of the winning team at the state competition will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship to a Wisconsin college or university of their choice.
