Mr. Mickelson's BLOCK 2 Engineering Concepts class created hovercraft boards using plywood, plastic, and other basic materials. Students were challenged to create hovercraft boards that would hold weight while still hovering off the ground and moving from their original location. Groups were also expected to strategize how to best distribute weight on the hovercraft to maximize lifting weight.
