Yesterday our Staff participated in World Diabetes Awareness Day by wearing Blue. One of our own Little Vikings was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2018, and his Mom is a staff member at the Elementary School. Some of this week's Purple Ticket Winners and friends having lunch with Principal Hager! Students have the opportunity to earn purple tickets for good behavior and for being kind. If their ticket is drawn at the end of the week, they get to pick a prize. These kids chose to have lunch with Principal Hager! Way to go Denmark Elementary School Students!

Our students participated in The Great Lakes Great Apple Crunch on Oct 13th! This program encourages healthy eating and supports farm to school and other local food purchasing initiatives throughout the region. It’s also a fun way to connect food and agriculture to classroom curricula – from science to art & more!
The cold weather didn't stop this group of 2nd graders from enjoying all of the natural landscapes, plants and wildlife at the Green Bay Wildlife Sanctuary!
Our 3rd graders had an Apple-licious time this week at Hillside Apples. Students learned the correct way to pick an apple from the tree, how apples are sorted and stored, and how fresh apple cider is pressed. What a fun day to enjoy the sweetest tastes of Fall !
Our 4th Graders went to Heritage Hill this week and experienced what life was like for the pioneers who shaped our region's history!
Barkhausen Field Trip! 5th graders had a great time learning about the natural habitats of a wide variety of waterfowl, wildlife and plant species. They explored the beautiful scenic hiking trails as well as the marshes along the west shore of Green Bay at Barkausen Waterfowl Preserve. Ask your 5th graders how many different species of bugs they found!
We've got Spirit, How 'bout You? Mrs. Senecal's 2nd graders sure had a lot of Viking Spirit last week during our Homecoming Parade and dress up days!
The Elementary School was full of excitement today for our Read-A-Thon Assembly! We celebrated the classrooms and students with the most minutes read and the most money raised. All together our students brought in an amazing $25,380.00. Thank you to everyone who donated!
The Elementary School was treated to a sneak-peak of the homecoming half-time performance by the High School Band! It was a great way to boost everyone's spirit during our Homecoming Spirit Week! Go Vikings!
