A Note from Mrs. Knoflicek – Director of the Spring Play
This year’s production is marking my 25th year of directing the DHS spring play – both as assistant director and the past 10 years as director. Over the years there’s truly nothing that hasn’t happened: missed cues, wrong props, forgotten lines, late entrances, costume mishaps, covid, and plenty of chaos. I chose Play On! as this year’s play as it feels like a perfect reflection of all those experiences. But beyond the mishaps, it also celebrates the countless wonderful memories made with our talented casts, dedicated crews, our hardworking productions crews, the directors and assistant directors I have worked side by side with, our amazing parents and our supportive audiences. This play is a tribute to all those moments – the imperfect, the unpredictable, and the unforgettable – that make theater so special.
Our talented students here at Denmark bring this comedic play to life with energy, timing, and a whole lot of heart. Whether you’re a longtime theater fan or just looking for a fun night out, this play promises plenty of laughs for everyone.
