Dual Enrollment
Denmark offers a several different opportunities through which high school students are dually enrolled in both high school and college to earn both high school and college credit. These programs can make college more affordable for families and introduce students to higher level coursework before immersing themselves in a rigorous college life.
Early College Credit Program (ECCP)
The Early College Credit Program (ECCP) is a state program that allows students in grades 9 - 12 to apply to take one or more courses at a Wisconsin public or private college for high school and college credit. Students in good academic standing and who have no record of disciplinary problems may have the opportunity to take college courses on campus or online.
Please work with your high school counselor to determine if you are eligible and begin the application process. The school district will then make its determination regarding eligibility and notify you of the decision.
Students must submit their ECCP applications (no exceptions) to Student Services by:
October 1 for spring courses
February 1 for summer courses
March 1 for fall courses
Start College Now (SCN)
Start College Now (SCN) is a state program that allows students in grades 11 & 12 to apply to take college courses at Wisconsin Technical Colleges. The application process is very similar to the Early College Credit Program process. High school students in good academic standing and who have no record of disciplinary problems may have the opportunity to take college courses at their local technical college to earn both high school and college credit.
