Ahnapee Automotive & Diesel Program
Denmark High School is part of a consortium that is an initiative of Luxemburg-Casco School District. The Ahnapee Automotive & Diesel program is a partnership with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC). It provides students the opportunity to earn college credits toward their program, while also receiving credit towards high school graduation. Students can choose to apply to either the Ahnapee Automotive or Ahnapee Diesel program in the spring before their junior year. The program takes place during both junior and senior year.
Automotive Maintenance Technician (AMT)
Through successful completion of NWTC’s Automotive Maintenance Technician (AMT) curriculum, students attain a one-year technical diploma. Following graduation from high school, they may choose to ladder into an associate degree in Automotive Technology or a two-year technical diploma as an Automotive Technician.
Diesel Maintenance Technician (DMT)
Through successful completion of the NWTC Diesel Maintenance Technician (DMT) curriculum, students attain a one-year technical diploma. Following graduation from high school, they may choose to ladder into an associate degree in Medium and Heavy Truck Technology or Heavy Equipment Technology as well as a two-year technical diploma in Medium and Heavy Truck Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician.
Bellin Healthcare Academy
The Bellin Healthcare Academy provides opportunities for juniors and seniors who are passionate about a future in healthcare to earn college credit. Students are introduced to Bellin College coursework through blended and online learning. They participate in career exploration through job shadows and career-focused events and are provided mentoring opportunities by medical professionals.
Students must begin the application process in the spring prior to their junior or senior year to be considered for the program. After students complete core healthcare career classes, they can choose from supplemental courses.
