Students in Mrs. Albers’ Introduction to Healthcare class participated in the Hands-On Healthcare event at Bellin College of Nursing on November 17th. During this
exciting career-exploration experience, students had the opportunity to use an ultrasound machine, create and manipulate images with x-ray equipment, insert IVs in practice arms, work with tools used by surgical technologists, explore healthcare scenarios through VR simulations, and much more.
A big thank-you to Bellin College for providing our students with such an engaging, hands-on look into the many careers available in the healthcare field!
