The Denmark FFA Chapter will be recognized as a National Chapter Award 3-Star Gold Chapter at the 96th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis the first week of November.
Last week the ECC and ES students joined the HS band on the football field this morning as they rehearsed their halftime performance. It was really fun!
September link crew meeting were great today! Link Leaders did an amazing job talking to their 9th graders about the beginning of the school year and how things are going in high school. Meeting was not complete until a round of musical chairs was played!

Katelyn Shedlosky qualified for sectionals for girls golf on Wednesday by shooting a 108 at Regionals. This will be held next Tuesday.

The girls golf team participated in the Jaguar Scramble hosted at Hilly Haven. The scramble is a nice way to help the team bond and have some fun. This group went with a Hawaiian theme this year to honor those who were affected by the recent wildfires.

Our girls soccer team pulled off an upset last night by beating Sheboygan Falls by a score of 2-1. Their regional final game will be TOMORROW at HOME starting at 4:00. They will be taking on the #14 seeded Xavier Hawks.
Finally, our baseball team will be playing next Tuesday in their Sectional Semi-final game in Winneconne starting at 10am. They will be taking on Notre Dame. If they win they will be playing for another trip to state at 4:00!

A big THANK YOU goes out to Mike Taicher, owner of Robinson Heating & Cooling, who recently donated several pieces of sheet metal to the Tech. Ed. department. The metal is being used to create dustpans for the students to take home. Throughout the project student learn layout, cutting, bending, riveting, and general metal working. Mike's generosity is very much appreciated!
Ethan Ovsak was nominated for the Green Bay Press Gazette Athlete of the Week for his dominant performances on the mound and at the plate last week.

Cordell Komorowski recently completed a sign for a new business in Denmark call "Totally Awesome". The sign was designed using a 3D modeling program called Inventor and cut out of metal using our CNC plasma cutter. Cordell also painted and assembled the sign.

Students in Mrs. Albers Family Foods Classes learned the art of pie making this week. Students learned the process of making pie crust along with practicing their knife skills as they cut apples for the filling.
Mr. Mleziva’s High School Phy-Ed class took it to the boards today by participating in a Cornhole Tournament.
Mrs. Handrich's class are cleaning the Hydroponic units. Lettuce had been growing in the units. However due to the village power outage the lettuce plants all died. The units must be cleaned to be set up for new plants.
